HMD Global has not launched many smartphones in India. Nokia 2.3 was their last announced smartphone in India which came at the beginning of 2020. But now it seems that a new smartphone is finally coming to India by the end of August. The same has been confirmed by the official listing of the Nokia 5.3 on the Indian website.

Nokia 5.3 offers great value for money experience. It runs on Android One- meaning it contains no bloatware and offers a pure Android experience. It also offers 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of monthly security updates. It also comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. HMD Global claims that Nokia 5.3 battery will suffice till 2 days on moderate usage after a full charge.
Updated: Nokia 5.3 is going to launch on August 25 in India. HMD Global has sent invites for a virtual event via Microsoft Teams.
